My 2cents, do you pay him for work performed or do you pay him 1/2 down ahead of time?. I find that paying for work performed gives you options to get new contractor to continue job and minimize long off track timelines.

good luck

I have a property that I want to pull cash from- " refi". However thus property is in my company's Name. My lender said it must be in my name in order to refi. I don't want to give up my protection that having it in my company name offers . Any ideas? Thnks in Advance. Chicago southwest burbs

1st I would double check with the city to make sure it's zoned for a multi family unit. 2nd if your lenders appraisal comes back for less then that could be used as a re-negotiating tool. Good luck
