Hi all! I'm looking for Chicago area meet-ups. Anyone know of any that a future investor like myself can join?? A little about me...My husband and I plan to purchase our first property in the next 6 months. Looking for a buy and hold. Our goal is to secure properties (amount tbd) to help supplement our retirement. Which is about 20-30 years away. 😉 Thanks in advance for any insights! Suvarna Joshi I'm curious..have you looked at Scottsdale in your research? I've been looking at that area (specifically short-term rentals) and curious to get others thoughts. I hear long distant land-lording can be difficult but I'm planning on doing the same with my first property. Good luck!!!

Hi there!   I'm looking for a realtor in the Benton Harbor/St.Joseph Michigan area who works with real estate investors and knows the area and rental rules well.   Does anyone have any recommendations they can pass along?  We are first time investors out of the Chicago area and looking for a few properties in Benton Harbor St. Joseph area.  

In addition, if anyone has any feedback about buying investment properties the area don't be shy!
