@Michael Haas hi Michael, correct. These are my interests. I’ve looked for tiny house meetups on meetup.com without success. I’m interested in pursuing the development of a tiny house community using probably a private lender as means of “funding”, since this concept isn’t a traditional development the bank would loan on.

@Jeremiah Neumann also a new broker still in process at Rockwell. I’ve interviewed at several brokerages and will be hanging mine with Berkshire Hathaway. Very warm people there. Managing broker at the Burien/West Seattle office has been nothing but open and kind.

@Guifre Mora cons from your experience using non QM loans other than the higher interest rate? This is the first time I’ve heard of this type of loan actually.

@Jade Adair I should specify, two years of work history to qualify for a bank loan.

So in Washington state, you’re required to have 2 years work history in the same field. Recently I’ve quit my job in pursuit of a career in real estate which voids bank lending as an option. What are some creative ways for funding my first investment purchase without being able to qualify for a loan? Two years in this market is a long time to wait to find a deal.
