Hello Everyone,

I hope that your 2018 is off to a great start!

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 13th at 6:00 pm. We will use this meet-up as an opportunity to ask and answer questions in a group setting, talk about potential future presenters (feel free to comment on this post with ideas), and then allow time for networking/small group discussions. We will wrap things up by 8:00 pm.

Connecticut Real Estate Investors,

Our last meeting of 2017 is scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00pm.  We will be meeting at @Kit Crowne's office (110 main street, Manchester, CT 06226).  Ted Lanzaro, a CPA out of Cheshire, will be returning to the stage to talk to us about year end tax strategies, and the implications of the upcoming tax law changes.

Feel free to bring something tasty for our holiday party.

Hey Everybody,

It is confirmed that Michelle Brady, a brand ambassador from Equity Trust, will be coming to speak to us about self directed IRA's on November the 14th at 6:00pm. The event will be at @Kit Crowne's office at 110 Main Street, Manchester, CT.

I look forward to an informational meeting, and hope to see you there. This might be a good meeting to bring a guest if you use private financing. It could open up some more cash that people think is "untouchable" until retirement.

Please let me know if you plan to attend, as I anticipate meeting full capacity.

Hello Everyone,

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday September 12th at @Kit Crowne's office in Manchester from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

We were able to secure Attorney Bruce Fader to come and speak to the group about some of the legal issues (pitfalls, and ways to avoid them) that surround investment property purchases.  The goal is to help our Bigger Pockets audience recognize that there is more to purchasing investment property than simply arranging the financing.

Investors, new and old, will benefit from this information, and there will be an opportunity to network with other CT investors after the presentation.

Hello Everyone,

Our next meeting will be on July 11th at 6:00pm.

Kit was able to secure a speaker to come and talk to the group about both the process and options of renovation financing.  Understanding and implementing these financing options can allow for forced appreciation without having to pay for rehab costs out of pocket resulting in greater cash on cash returns.
