Can a landlord deny emotional support animal (Not a service animal)? I know alot of people who get treated for depression or some sort of mental health issue and gets a letter from a licensed doctor or therapist that allows the patient to have an ESA. How would a landlord go about it if the landlord has a no pet policy and does not want this tenant with an ESA without discrimination or breaking laws?

A landlord was shot and killed on Friday by a tenant he was evicting in Salt Lake City.

When it comes to eviction..... when is it appropriate to get LEO involved? Everytime?

@Christopher Raiz

Learn how to build your credit first and understand how it works, and get a stable earned income history. Trust me even if your score is 800 but you don't have much lending history or a steady W2 with low DTI ratio then you won't even qualify for an auto loan much less a mortgage loan. Coming from someone who was is your shoes once and thought the same. I learned that your income, credit history NOT just the score you see on CK but actually length of credit history and DTI plays a big role in your lenders decision in approving you or not. Best of luck.

Thinking about using my VA Loan to purchase a triplex or even a quadplex. Does anyone have any experience with this before? Are there any restrictions or implications to renting out property using a VA Loan?

@Thomas S.

Spot on. This is a business. And you will inevitably have to deal with difficult or rude people. Nice doesn't pay your bills, but tenants who pay on time do.
