@Matt Hudson It would be nice if insurance premiums were easy to estimate, but it is also probably nicer that insurance policies are perfectly tailored to the needs and specifics of a certain structure. Best of luck in your investing!

Speaking toward the insurance piece, your insurance premiums are going to depend on several different factors such fire protection class code, roof age, square footage, age of dwelling, etc. It is best to establish a relationship with an agency you trust and then work with them on your individual properties.

Sean, insurance is rated a so many different factors. As Jason mentioned, the building's insurance value would be helpful here. Additionally, on buildings that old, you should definitely make sure you have Ordinance & Law coverage. This coverage is vital for older structures. As building code has changed greatly since the original structures were built, I strongly recommend having great coverage for Ordinance & Law. If you have any questions, please reach out!
