Newbie Property Analysis - Insurance Question

Matt Hudson

Hey BP,

As I'm studying up on how to best analyze deals I'm likely going to have lots of questions. I'm trying to set up quick resources and systems so once I'm ready I can evaluate quickly and make fast decisions on potential properties. Any websites you guys use to gather property info? Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Here are some initial questions:

  1. How do I estimate the cost of insurance?
  2. How do I estimate the cost of Utilities?
  3. Best site for comps - both rental and home sale

Thanks Again!

Matt,

Speaking toward the insurance piece, your insurance premiums are going to depend on several different factors such fire protection class code, roof age, square footage, age of dwelling, etc. It is best to establish a relationship with an agency you trust and then work with them on your individual properties.

I would love to talk with you further. Feel free to reach out any time!
