Hello all! I recently came across an article listing the top 10 cities for rental properties in 2021 and one of them was Cleveland Ohio. After a quick search on Zillow I found properties for as low as $20k. Now, I understand this comes with lower rent rates and, judging by the crime map, Cleveland doesn't seem like the safest place, but it still seems like a good opportunity.

Does anyone have rentals in Cleveland? if so what advice do you have for investing in this city, what has gone well and what hasn't? Also which areas are good and which should be avoided?

Hello! I am working on analyzing properties and reading about how to find deals. The common theme I come across is to get a great deal you need to pay attention to trends in the area where you are intending to buy. I also keep hearing that the majority of good deals come from homes that are in foreclosure.

My question is, what are some tools I can use to analyze market trends in a certain area, and what is the best way to find and buy homes in foreclosure?
