I am interesting in buying a property with an owner-occupied mortgage and then converting it to a buy-to-let mortgage when I move out of the property. From a mortgage advisor, I was told for free that there are only a handful of banks that will permit this conversion.

Does anyone know which banks would allow this?

Did you end up purchasing a property in the Netherlands? I find myself studying the same questions as you.

Thank you, @Erik Noordam.

Could you please tell me a little more about the VastgoedBelang? Does the value of the organization come from the events they hold (https://www.vastgoedbelang.nl/over/over-ons/lidmaatschap/evenementen/)?

I do not speak Dutch, so perhaps their courses wouldn't help me. I suppose once you're a member, there's the option for paid legal and tax advise as well.
