I recently moved to south jersey and I am interested in investing in Delaware. (Im only about 20 minutes away) I am considering DE because of the low taxes. That is a huge factor considering NJ taxes are insane. I know there are also several colleges in DE, we would consider something in those areas.
I am very new to this and since this is a new market to me I'm looking to get as much info as possible and connect with local people.
Any agents here that are based in Delaware (Newark area) that specialize in working with investors?
One more thing...
I am also very close to Philly. I am not as comfortable with that area but when I have mentioned wanted to get started with rentals Philly usually makes its way into the convo.
I want to stay away from the war zones and seedier areas. Not sure if Philly would also be a good option to consider of if the cost to get into that market would be too high.
