@Bjorn Ahlblad Thank you for the reply and your thoughts! I've seen some more recent ones on websites like Allwood that seem pretty nice and are very affordable. I'm curious to see how the prices of buying the land and building the kit home on it would compare to the more standard rental strategies. Although I'm sure they would require a full cash payment upfront rather than a down payment and mortgage.

Hello,

I am a current college student looking to get into real estate investing after graduating. I've done research into a few different REI strategies and came across kit homes/cabins (essentially a company sends you all the materials to build a home and you do it yourself). This has caught my interest and I wanted to hear if anyone from the community had thoughts or experience with this?
