Dutch Andrews Khaled Helmi the reason I chose this particular area because I have family down there and properties down there area much cheaper than my area. Houses in the D.C. area are very expensive. I figure I flip a few cheaper properties I can afford in the Carolina's, then I'll have enough to buy in my own area. My dad also recently retired and moved down there. I was going to have him look at the property. I don't know any contractors in that area but I was going to start looking. And maybe have my dad and him meet up at the property and see how much damage and repairs are needed. Thank you guys for replying to my post. I'm just really eager at getting started. Plus things seem so affordable down there.

So this is going to be my 1st purchase. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to rent it or flip it. Plus I can't tell if this is a good deal or not. But the house is going for $65,000.00 has 3 beds 2 baths with 1,950 sqft. I found the house on Zillow the address is 8022 Springpond Rd. Columbia, Sc. The house definitely need work done. I've looked at comps in the area and I think I can get 120,000.00 with a little rehab. I contacted a realtor threw Zillow but I didn't know the right questions to ask to know if this is a good deal or not. So I'm asking the bigger pocket community what are questions I need to ask the realtor to know if I'm wasting my time and need to move on. And can someone look at the property on Zillow and tell me what they think?

Hey I'm new to BP. I just attended a fortune builder  2hr seminar and I'm interested in flipping houses and rental properties. I've read on here we're people warn about the costly price of fortune builders.  I want to know where can I find information for newbies on how to get in the business and can step by step instruct me on being a successful house flipper. I would also like information on finding the finacial resources to purchasing homes. I'm very eager to start my business in real estate and would very much appreciate if someone could guide me in the right direction.
