    I have often heard that the people that you surround yourself with can have a major impact on your behavior, thoughts, and actions.  I have heard this time and time again from many people that i personally consider mentors (including my mom lol).  So i thought to myself ....why not ? why not surround try to yourself with people that you look up to ? So I did...I have messaged and tried to connect with people who i look up to as much as possible and in a way it has worked ! I encourage everyone to do the same.  If you have goals and aspirations to continue to do so and try to connect with people who you look up to.  This for me has had such a great impact on my life so far... even in the small conversations that i have had with the people that i look up to.  People struggle in so many ways and you never really know what a comment or suggestion on instagram or facebook can have.  I guess the next step is to try and provide some type of value to those people.  Many of us are starting out and have so many questions .....more questions than answers  lol  but in my heart i still know its about what we can bring to the table ...no matter how small.  So i would like to suggest a few things today for you...If you have not heard of my good friend Jim Rohn....Jim Rohn got me through some of my hardest times of my life.  People like Brandon Turner, David Greene and many people on the podcasts.  I would say....keep your head up....keep trying don't give up ! also episode 14 on the BP podcast ( listen to this one trust me). I would really appreciate it if people would write down peoples names who have had a major impact on their lives and people who you look up to !

Ok guys ! I think enough is enough.....I would like to connect to like minded people and just talk real estate with people in my area....there are many people on BP who are extremely knowledgeable but LA is such a niche market !  I understand that meeting people right now is just really hard so im up for ideas ! are there local groups meeting during this time ? Maybe we can choose a topic of discussion or just start fresh i dont know.....but lets try to make this happen ! if there is a will there is a way !

Hello everyone !

Does anyone have any advice on purchasing raw land and placing their own mobile homes on the site ? I just found some mobile homes at around $35,000 and was thinking if they could be placed on raw land ....I have absolutely no experience in this I just keep an eye out for opportunities...

@Kevin Chen

I just kept looking at properties with unused pools and kept thinking what a waste !  I’m sure there would probably be many restrictions and reports that would go along with something like this ... but it could also be an overlooked opportunity...I mean it would be kinda cool ! I just wonder if anyone has been able to do something like this ...

@Bruce Umeck

Its my parents property...I've been looking into the possibility of buying the property from them and building an ADU...but because its family......its complicated....

@Bruce Umeck

Has it been difficult to deal with the San Fernando bldg dept ? Have you dealt with the permitting process already ? How are the costs ? Is it a garage conversion ?

Hey everyone !

There is an area that im looking into and there are many unused, dirty, empty pools and all i kept thinking was how dangerous ! and probably expensive to fix and maintain....so i thought hey why not remove the empty dangerous pool and create a finished basement and an ADU where the pool once stood ! Anyway...has anyone ever done this ? i thought it might be kinda interesting to do.
