I have a single family rental home I would like to sell.  I would like to use the proceeds as a down payment for commercial real estate (raw land).  Can I do this through a 1031 exchange?

What is the best way to pull money out of a 401k and minimize taxes at the age of 65? I would like to acquire more properties to produce cash flow for retirement.

Thank you for the information. My wife and I currently have 5 homes and are looking for our 6th. I've been listening to podcasts that suggest it is best to acquire investments as an LLC rather than an individual using conventional home loans. I've talked to several CPAs here in Texas who tell me to keep adding investments like the previous five and then set up a series LLC for liability protection?

I've been listening to Robert kyosaki and am wanting to learn how to buy future investments through an LLC vs buying them in my personal name and adding them to a series llc. Apparently, it is smarter to buy them in a LLC due to a reduction in tax Liabilty.
