@Irakli Khakhviashvili You can start working with your own bank. You can meet personally with MLO in your bank or can apply online on their website.

Hello,

I am looking to purchase my first multi-family rental via an FHA loan. I understand the basic concept of the loan but I would like to learn more about it. How do I qualify? how to start the loan application etc. Can anyone suggest an official website to learn more about FHA loans? Much appreciated.

Quote from @Samuel Eddinger:

@Irakli Khakhviashvili - I own a CT based property management company. I second using RentOMeter but I also use the MLS to pull comps. If you are using an agent to help you buy, you might ask them to send you closed rents over the last 12 months in the area you are thinking of buying so you can look into the areas and have good pictures of the unit. This is how we perform rental analyses for prospective clients.

Hi Samuel, this is very helpful. Thanks much.

Hello,

I am starting to analyze properties to practice my skills and get better at spotting good deals for long-term rentals. I have decided to start looking for properties in my area New Haven CT. But I am having a hard time understanding how to get the information about the area to determine if my area is good for investing. So my question is can anyone suggest a method on how to view units that were rented recently and for how much they rented for? Is this something I can do on zillow.com? if so how?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

My name is Irakli. I am an immigrant from Georgia, living in the US for 6 years now. I always try to find ways to build wealth and financial freedom in the pursuit of my American dream and real estate investing was always on my radar. Started reading The book on rental property investment and it just opened my eyes and made me realize how much opportunity real estate gives you to build long-term wealth and get out of the 5 to 9 rat race.

My goal is to save in the next 12 months for a downpayment for my first rental property purchase and use this time to learn as much as I can. If you know any real estate meetups in Connecticut or if you live in CT let's connect!

Cheers everyone.
