Dennis, well put. Couldn't agree with you more. QE3,QE4...is delaying the inevitable. It is clear that Govt/Fed will do whatever it takes...

Rich Weese: Great link, thanks.

I guess if lending does not increase, real estate market will stay stagnant. It will be that will be the case for short term, contrary to what they have you believe. However QE3 wards off deflation so protecting your holdings during that period. If however lending increases, propping up the real estate prices, QA3 will act as a hedge against hyper inflation which many predict will happen within next few years. This assuming real estate prices rise along with other commodities such as gold and silver.

So I feel QA3 helped one as real estate investor/speculator since it is merely taking advantage of this propped up, manipulated, politicized economy.

I am not sure if it is possible to have a mixed scenario of inflation and deflation: food, oil going higher but real estate going down. That will be real doom and gloom indeed. Is that possible? Any thoughs on that?

As you may have heard, today Fed annouced QE3 of 40B per month (i.e. printing press) with no end in sight. Precious metals soared instantly along with the stock market. I wonder what it means to the real estate market. Increased money supply and currency debasement should mean property value is going up. However I can't see how this work out with economy still in the recovery mode (people with no jobs, jobs with less wages and/or jobs with insecurity). I am new to real estate. I am curious to know what the experienced real estate investor has to say.

I live in Central NJ. What is the best way to go about replacing my windows and patios? Is there any efficient way, best way to go about this? I want to make sure that my home is energy efficient. Get maximum for the buck I spend also have a WOW factor since I may rent out or sell the house pretty soon. Any help is much appreciated.

Abdul

Ibrahim, Keith: Thanks. I will join nj tri-state mixer soon. Hope to meet you all soon.

Thanks,
