taking the plunge to say hi on the new member forums as I haven't done so yet. I am near Toronto and wanting to be a buy and hold landlord. the market here is diverse and particularly overpriced for the most part. I am researching in the USA market and for creative solutions in multi-units among other things. I am a bit of an entrepreneur and dabble in other businesses and work part time.

if all else being equal, or if it were profitable, would the presence of one of these factors in a town affect your decision to buy and hold rental properties?

1 - nuclear power plant

2 - nuclear storage

3 - nuclear leakage
