Post: Thinking of Moving To Spanish Speaking Country and do real estate

Hi there.  Instead of doing research I thought I would ask all of you amazing people at BP if you have any ideas...  Both my husband and I have done over 20+ flips and are both licensed real estate agents.  We have one 15-year old child still at home and would love to take her abroad to a Spanish speaking country for 4-5 minutes while she home schools.  We have always wanted to do this and ultimately would LOVE to explore a real estate business we could do on an ongoing basis from this location.  Think making homes from sea containers, doing local real estate, doing vacation rentals, etc.  Do you know of anyone who has done this or is working real estate in a Spanish speaking or other country and has made a go of it?  We would probably be fine not making a lot of money while we are there but it would be nice to make some.  Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance!  :)

Hello there.  My husband got laid off about 3 years ago and we did a Solo i401K with our 401K money.  We have been told that we can use it to buy properties but we can't get loans with it, etc.  The market around us now is up and I was thinking of waiting until it cools off some and then pick up some rental properties to hold and manage ourselves.  Wanting to get my money working for me again.  I would love your thoughts and ideas.  We aren't new to the landlord/investing/real estate game.  Thanks for your help!  I would love to hear about any experiences anyone has had with theirs.

Hey Alexis we would love to pick your brain sometime and see what you have going on.  We're not knew to the game but new to Ogden. Would you have some time to meet next week or so?  We've flipped houses so maybe we can help you out there.

Is there a map or list or something from the city that lists the streets/areas where they don't want you to rent to felons, etc.  We are looking to get to know Ogden better as we would like to do some BRRRs up there.  Thanks for your help!

Cody Hoffhine did a fantastic job last night.  It's all a matter of taking ACTION!  Anybody can start wholesaling without spending one dime.  It's just a matter of getting out there and making it happen.

I would love to hear anything you learn about Puerto Rico!  Hoping to buy beachfront there but not sure yet....  Welcome to BP!  It's a great place to be and safe travels!

Super interesting conversation.  Does anybody know of a company who sets up property tours in Puerto Rico for investors?
