Wendy,

Nice post. Emotions are huge, and probably the most dangerous with vacant lots. You can make certain, fairly safe, assumptions about a home on a quarter acre lot in a subdivision, but there is no telling when it comes to vacant land. Land is so easy to fall in love with. It’s, like, in our blood or something.

Wait a minute, you got your pre-teens iphones.

You make way too much money. Mr. Obama needs to tax you more.

Thanks everybody.

I took the plunge and got the iphone G3. It's awsome. I went on a run last night and it tracked my run distance, pace and average speed all while I jammed to my itunes.

I can also twitter on demand, email, and browse the web. This is useful to me since I have an hour commute.

Thanks again for the input.

Justin

$80-100/month!?!? That is crazy. What do they give you for this amount? If htey are building your website I can understand them charging you a one-time fee for that but not monthly. I wouldnt pay more than $10/month for a website. There are plenty of good hosts who cost less than this.

I don't know what they give you for the $80-100 fee. I know they offer it for those who want a complete hands off operation. I just maintain my own, of course mine is not the most professional looking. I assume some people who really have computer phobia might be willing to have someone do all of the tech stuff for them. And that might be of value to some people. I certainly have learned my leason when it comes to sticking to what I'm good at and paying people to do what they're good at or is not worth my time.

Vista.com does all kinds of signs and direct marketing things. You might check there. Otherwise, just look in your local yellow pages. Just about any sign company will do special order stuff.

I know the local graphics design company that did my logo builds websites too. You can just go the yellow pages for those folks.

I agree completely. Income Income Income. and CURRENT MARKET VALUE. Most people get in trouble for buying something based on future appreciation. If you want that then the stock market is the place for you.

You know, on your first deal, just make sure you turn a profit first. Don't spend money you haven't made yet. Make it up to your dad once you get a better feel for this business. There will be plenty of other people with their hands out.

Kurt,

You can treat internship hunting just like job hunting. You can search for an intern possition on monster.com and on the government job usajobs.opm.gov.

If you were out in the D.C. area I would let you work for me for free.
