Thank you all. I got a little sidetracked lately with a job offer to move to Houston. I am weighing all options now. I thought I was all ready to go in PGH now I may have to learn a new market! LOL

Thank you all. The common theme I keep hearing is know your numbers and pull the trigger. I think that is my area of reluctance. I just don't know the numbers yet. I see that is my greatest area of study. I am beginning with lease options and wholesaling. I got a lot of study to do...thanks guys!!!

I'm a new investor at the educational phase of my career. I would love to hear how some of you began investing in spite of your fears of beginning.

@Kyle great to meet you! I am just starting...literally. I'm at the education phase. i just made the decision to do become an investor Monday. I will be primarilly looking on the eastside of town (East Liberty/Penn Hills/Monroeville) for now. Hopefully expand as I begin to know what I'm doing.

Hello everyone. My name is Ian Moore and I reside in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been contemplating real estate investing for years and I know it is now time to move forward. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I know that everyone on Bigger Pockets got their start somewhere so I will be leaning on you all a lot.

I want to begin with wholesale investing for now. I will be pursuing my licence over the next few months while trying to grow my business. I currently work in educational sales so I have thought about becoming an agent as a way to learn more about the business.
