Yea, the meetups can be a bit of a sales pitch. But I don't only go there to learn. There are a ton of other people so you can network a lot too. Sounds good, just send me a message when you're in town.

I live in the Denver area as well. One of the best ways I have been using to find groups is if you go to meetup they will have a bunch of groups you can join. For instance I have 3 I am going to this week. They have a couple of groups on here too, but I forget when the next meeting is.

Has anyone used connected investors_dot_com? Wondering if its any good or worth the money to use? Seems like it could be a great idea, just pinging the BP community if anyone has any feedback on it. Thanks.

Excuse my ignorance on this subject, but I cant seem to find an answer to this question anywhere. How does one go about getting a house under contract without a real estate agent? Do you need an attorney or something? Are there contract forms you download and then fill out for a property? I am very new to all this and this question has been bugging me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So are wholesalers usually RE agents? Or do wholesalers just bug the crap out of them to pull comps. I could see where you could pay an RE again a little for their time in pullings comps for a bunch of properties. How do wholesalers that are not RE agents usually pull their comps for a property?

When trying to pull comps for a particular property everyone says you should use mls.com. When I do this though it always will forward me off to some partner site, such as ziprealty.com. Now my question is do those sites actually have up to date mls listings? Or is there something I am missing? Do I have to go through an RE agent to get comps? How do you guys do it?

Thanks,
Ian
