Does anyone have any suggestions for maintenance management? I would like my renters to be able to submit maintenance requests online at anytime (including emergencies), rather than try to reach me just be phone (since I am out of state).

Thanks for your insight. Recently bought the tickets and I'll be coming in with my friend from Sept 6-9. Will definitely look into the associations and clubs that meet during that time. The BP community has been great about reaching out, and I'm definitely looking forward to exploring and sharing some drinks/coffee with some members.

Are there any neighborhoods or suburbs that you all might recommend as a starting point to look at single and multi-family rentals? For those that reached out privately, I will return your messages there. Much appreciated, and looking forward to learning more.

A real estate investor friend and I are visiting Detroit during the week through the first weekend in September (TBD). We are interested in learning more about the area. We're interested in the rental property market although we are open to other ideas. I am personally interested because I've had friends from the area who love it. And I'm a contrarian and a fan of great American cities and I wanted to see if they're are opportunities to "buy when everyone else is selling." I'm looking to change property managers for my property in eastern NC located near Camp Lejeune. Contract is up at the end of the year. The house is a single family 3 BR/2.5 bath. I am located out of state (moved around because of the military). Any recommendations or interest in managing would be greatly appreciated!
