A real estate investor friend and I are visiting Detroit during the week through the first weekend in September (TBD). We are interested in learning more about the area. We're interested in the rental property market although we are open to other ideas. I am personally interested because I've had friends from the area who love it. And I'm a contrarian and a fan of great American cities and I wanted to see if they're are opportunities to "buy when everyone else is selling." We'd love to chat and learn more and even meet with anyone open to it -- agents, brokers, appraisers, contractors, lenders. Hit me up!

Thanks @Adam Smith

Hey @Byron Chen

Like @George P. Not many people wants to invest here. It all depends on your tolerance for risk. There are some areas that require s a team of bulldozers and wrecking balls. The best I can suggest is to find a house on a good block that needs rehab. Not one that is on a street with alot of vacancies.
