Hi Bigger Pockets!

My name is Imani Moore. I am a 23 year old born & raised in Detroit, MI but currently residing in Fort Wayne, IN. I am a 2016 graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago where I played on the women's basketball team & studied psychology. Whoot whoot! I am an assistant girls basketball coach & head junior varsity coach at my old high school. 

Since graduating I've taken on various job opportunities but quickly realized the fact that it makes more sense to work on my own dreams. Although I studied psychology, I had no real plans on pursuing a career in it. Since my senior year I've wanted to become a real estate professional/ investor. I am currently working on obtaining my real estate license. My goal is to pass the exam before the end of 2017!

I have no personal/ hands on experience with investing but I have been educating myself. I came across Bigger Pockets some months ago through the podcasts & I've been scouring the forums as well. I'm ready to dive into it. I'm very interested in investing in the Detroit & Fort Wayne areas. One of the main things I want to explore is flipping & I hope to get involved in rental properties, tax lien certificates, foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, apartments, conversions, SFH, multifamily untis, etc.

Other than that, I look forward to networking & meeting new people as well as obtaining as much education I can get to begin this process. Thank you Bigger Pockets! Peace.
