@Jonathan Anderson hey Jonathan! Somehow I did not notice you had commented on this post. I will be going to the meetup Sept 1st. I’m about to register for it. I look forward to meeting you and others

Hey BPers-

I'll get straight to it! I'm hoping someone has been in my situation and can shed some light and perhaps this post helps others in the same scenario.

I have done a good amount of reading and learning through BP forums, BP youtube videos, online research, etc. to educate myself and learn as much as possible about real estate investing.  From other threads and @Brandon Turner's advice, my next step was to analyze properties on paper.  I am starting to feel pretty comfortable with this and now I want to keep moving forward, but I am not sure what my next step needs to be.  I feel like I can continue learning because there is so much information to learn.  The learning never stops, but I would love to know what other experienced investors would recommend.

Due to having a full time job currently, my strategy is long term buy and hold rentals (SF and/or small multifamily).

I would love to get some feedback so that I can keep moving forward and not let analysis paralysis or fear of action keep me stagnant.

Thanks in advance!

-Ignacio (Greenville, SC)

Thank you for the warm welcome guys! I look forwards to immersing myself and turning my dream into action.

Hey Everyone!

My name is Ignacio Monchetti, and I am an aspiring real estate investor!  As recommended in the podcast and UBG, I want to introduce myself to the BP community.  I am so thankful for the vast amount of content and willingness of members to help one another!  I am a full time engineer with the goal and determination to build a future for myself and family through real estate investments.  I am a first generation immigrant and will be the one to drive generational change towards success.  With that being said, I am new and doing my best to soak up as much information as I can to build my knowledge in real estate investing.  I am eager to connect with and learn from other investors not only through the site, but would love to get to know investors in the Greenville, SC area.

With so information available, I do not have an exact strategy yet, but introducing myself is most likely the best first step.  However, with my current job, I have the idea of using the income I generate and save to fund my investments as I start this journey (I save as much of my money as possible in order to achieve my goals sooner rather than later). I bought a townhome right after graduating from college in 2018 because I did not like the idea of renting when I knew I would qualify for a loan to invest in a home.  In the near future, my girlfriend and I are wanting to upsize and move to a detached single family home as our primary residence.  I would love to have my townhouse be the vehicle to start driving my real estate investments.  I do not know if this is the right post to put down numbers and ask for help evaluating my townhome, so I will be posting again as I am interested in knowing what to do with my townhome !

Long story short, I am glad to be here and be part of the BP community!
