Hello Tod,

I found a couple through meetup (Apartment Investing and AREA Real Estate Buying and Investing). They have monthly meetups where you can network with fellow real estate investors. I am planning to attend this month's meetup. There is a $10 charge for attending these meetups. I thought I will try their first meetup to see how genuine they are.

Once again, thank you to you all. I am already learning a lot here. I looking forward to getting a lot of input and sharing my knowledge in this forum.

Thanks for your reply Charles...

I found out about a couple of REI meetup groups in DFW area. I will be attending their meetings to gain more knowledge. I am working with my realtor in identifying the PMs and CPAs. However, networking at local REI clubs and chamber of commerce will also really help.

Hello All,

I am having been researching in realestate investment for several months. I have been trying to put the various pieces of puzzle together so that I have a team in place before I purchase my first investment property.

I was wondering if you all have any recommendations for CPAs and/or property managers in Dallas that you trust? I have been interviewing few property managers and I haven't gotten the warm feeling from any of those phone calls (i have been going through the yellowpages/google). If you have success using any of the CPAs or PMs in Dallas area, please let me know. I have a realtor in place and I think, I pretty close to picking my banker.

Also, are there going to be any new BP member meetups in the DFW area? I would love to find a mentor who might be able to guide me in my new venture.

Hello,

I accidently stumbled upon biggerpockets.com when I was looking for a cap rate calculator. Thank god I found this website. There appears to be a sea of information here. I have been going over various material for the past week. I registered after I went through several blogs and reading materials in the website.

I am a new invertor interested in multi-family investment properties in DFW. I do not have any real estate experience except for when I bought the home I live in currently.

I hope to learn as much as possible from this website and hopefully in the process meet some people and make good friends here.

It would be great to find a mentor from whom I can learn and grow.

Once again, this is a great website and looks like there are a lot of very helpful people here. Keep up the great job the website creater and the moderators are doing.
