A home that has sat online for 300+ days now all of a sudden has multiple offers on it now we are seriously interested

Has anyone had experience of listing agents saying highest and best and multiple offers etc... just to drive the price up even if there are no other buyers

Or am I to trust in the morality of a listing real estate agent in florida

Any help appreciated

What would look most attractive to a bank when making an offer on a foreclosure property

Example

150k with closing costs paid by buyer

155k with a 3% contribution

160k seller paying all closing costs

Round figures etc....

**** Florida based foreclosure questions ****

I have an offer submitted to suntrust bank for a foreclosed home...

The listing agent is woth berkshire Hathaway home services

The listing agent doesn't know how to get in contact with the bank as his 'usual' contact isnt responding to him .. he thinks possibly due to a merger between SunTrust and bb&t but isnt sure...

Anyone come up against this? No one seems to know what to do or who to call ... seems a joke

Any help advice or direction will very much help

@Andy Mirza that's what we have done and submitted an offer based on our return calculation ... just wanted to see if they would take lower than our estimate of the property value

@Brian Holt the property foreclosed and has been bank owned since may 2018

According to mls is has been listed for sale over 250 days with seemingly minimal interest.

In your experience, if any, in polk county what sort of % reduction would you attempt to take off the asking price

We are thinking of between 10-15% off asking as a starting point

@Brian Holt the property is listed for sale now post all foreclosure proceedings so the listing agent will know a bottom line price ... but wont tell us as a perspective buyer right ?
