With home prices hitting all time highs, I was wondering what experienced real estate professionals' perspective on the Silicon Valley market was? I understand there is a shortage of supply on the market in many of the areas but can we continue to see an increase in prices within the next 2-5 years and are these prices sustainable?

@Peter K. Congrats on the contract and thanks for the update! Looks like you made the right choice and came out ahead on this one. Just curious, what type of property did you buy and which market is it located?

@Matt K. Interesting take.. wouldn't it be harder to sell that property once the bubble hits though?

I understand it is impossible to know how big or when a housing bubble will happen, but just curious to see other people's thoughts on subject. In the event of a bubble, what would your strategy be? Is it smart to try to invest now while interest rates are low or to wait until housing prices goes down and deal with higher interest rates? Would places like the Silicon Valley be affected?

All opinions and perspectives are welcome! Just my random thought for the day

Post: Question regarding "turn-key" companies

I am a new investor from the Bay Area looking to buy out-of-state properties with cash flow in mind. Some cities I've been looking into are Indy, Memphis, Kansas City, Toledo, and some others as well.

I've come across many "turn-key" companies that have offered to help guide me through the process, however, I was wondering if anyone has ever had any great experiences doing so? I have heard mixed reviews about these companies and would love some more perspective from people who have been there and done that. Do these companies really have your best interest in mind or are they telling you what you want to hear so they get their properties sold? Any insight would be much appreciated!

Also, if there are any cash flow markets with appreciation upside that I should know about, please feel free to let me know!

Just curious to see which markets are attractive for cash flow properties in 2017? I heard that Memphis, Indianapolis, Austin/Dallas, etc.. are great cities for cash flow. Any thoughts? Also, what timing do you think is best for a first time investment property buyer? I am new to real estate investing and would love to hear everyone's input. Thanks for your time!
