Dean Letfus - you mentioned hedge fund buyers in your post. How would one go about tapping into that market, or at the very least finding a hedge fund manger to work with?

Jason Dillard - ever thought about buying in the NC (Greensboro, Raleigh, Charlotte)markets with a partner? :)

Question for the group: where would one go to find investors with SDIRA’s that can invest in RE projects? I see the benefit of using these types of “Funding Sources” for RE projects over Hard Money Lending. Jon Holdman gave some advice, and I was just asking to see what other TTP’s (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) they are using, or have used that was successful for them. (and if this would be better answered in another forum, if you would be so kind to point in that direction, greatly appreciate it)

Thanks
Hollis

Jon Holdman you said in a previous post: "Now there are some techniques for tracking these people down. [u]Some of the self directed IRA companies put on seminars for their customers where they talk about investment opportunities. "

I have been trying to tap into that segment of potential funding sources, and my question is how does one link up with those Self Directed IRA companies to become an investment opportunity for their clients? I know obtaining that type of funding source would just propel me/company into different aspect of doing business.

Thank you in advance.

Greetings everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself to the community.

My name is Hollis C. Gaynor, and I am an Officer in the National Guard, that recently completed a 12 month tour in Afghanistan, and am also an Iraq War veteran. (OIF II 2004-2005). I moved from NY to NC in January with every intent on making REI a full time profession. Prior to my deployment, I was a Mortgage Consultant, in Upstate New York for 5 years.

My goal is to purchase homes with the intent of rehabbing/remodeling, and then re-selling them to private investors as investment property, or to individuals or families to become their permanent residence.

I work in a way that helps a Seller sale their home, place an End buyer in a home of their own, and creates a profit for my business, as well as creating a very good ROI's for Investor Clients.

I welcome any, and all advise, help, partnerships, an occasional kick in the pants, to help me achieve my goal of financial freedom from the experts here at BP.
