I'm in a similar situation as you were and wondering how this strategy worked for you or if you found any better ways to organize the finances for the house hack without the rent covering the mortgage?

From there, you can connect with people in your local market.

Hello BP,

I've been listening to the podcasts for a while and I just purchased my first property in the SW corner of Lehigh Acres near Fort Myers, FL. It's a duplex and I am planning to house hack for a while. I'm looking for another rental property investor (or group of investors) in the SW Florida area to connect with, learn from each other's experiences, and help each other out.
