How is the rental market in Providence? I see too many condos/apartments available for rent. Wonder if it is hard to find tenants there and there is a lot of competition among the Apartment complexes.

@Steve Bracero I have started going to open houses but it is hard to find deals with my budget. Would appreciate if you can give me some tips to find few deals.

@Michael Pallotta Thanks for answering my questions.

I am new to Bigger Pockets and real estate world. Bought my first house in 2015 and now I am looking to buy a rental property in Greater Boston area. I have a budget of $250K-$280K. Have a couple of questions as I am new to this:

1. What are the areas/towns I should look for rental properties which will fit into my budget? For now, I am targeting properties T stations but most of the time they don't fit in my budget.

2. I am inclined towards buying a condo. A couple of real-estate agents told me that I should only target 2BD condos. Is it true? Or Does it depend on the area?
