Hi, GL -

Thanks for asking your question. There isn't a limit on the amount of messages you can send, as long as they are personalized, and not "copy and paste." Our system will flag those as spam since they don't have any personal touch. Added, you also want to make sure you don't send more than one in a short period of time, or again, will be flagged as spam.

I am not showing you to have any messages in your inbox. Where do you see this alert? If you have messages they will pop up on the right hand corner in your photo image as a red number. If you hover over that image you can scroll down to your "inbox" and should be able to read them from there. If you are having any more issues please email me, or send me a screen shot to [email protected]

Yes, this is our new policy. If you got this message, it means you have already sent out your 10 non-colleague messages. Just make sure, from this point forward, you connect with someone first. This will allow you to be able to message more than 10 people.

We at Bigger Pockets have changed the way messaging works for Pro users. You must now "Connect" with users before you can message them. We are doing this to limit the spam that people are receiving in their message folders. We hope this helps our members have a better experience on our site.

With this new upgrade as well, you will only be able to send 10 Non-Colleague messages a month, so please keep this in mind.

Hello! Sorry for the inconvenience of having your messages being banned. Our system is very sensitive to spam, but here are a few things you can do to make sure you're not caught in our filters.

- Slow down the rate of your posts

- Personalize your messages and make sure they are unique in content

- If you need to send someone a solicitation, be sure they have given you permission to do so

If you get reported by users for spam, you can lose your privileges permanently. By following the notes above, you should be able to stay out of trouble in the system.
