@Ellie T. I would suggest talking with other investors like yourself.  Join a local group and see what others are doing.  I believe @Shaun Reilly is in the Boston area and is doing some investing in my area of Western PA. There was a guru bringing people out of Boston to invest in this area as well.  Most important thing is to network with like-minded people in your area.
