Thank you very much for replying everybody. I am pretty new at this but I am willing to learn and start investing as soon as possible. I am bringing my money to start investing here and I am looking for opportunities.  I have been reading a lot of real estate books and talking to people about my ideas. However, I am afraid of investing in a bad deal. I would love if you can give me some tips or ideas of how to start. I don't want to have my money sitting there doing nothing.

I am a foreigner and been working in the DC area for a year. I created an LLC a few months ago with the perspective of investing in real estate. Currently, I am bring my saving to a local bank here and trying to get a loan. However, I am having some difficulties because I am under a G4 visa and do not pay taxes, my company is pretty new. Any suggestions on what to do?
