@Carl West just get started. Find the area Of real estate that you are interested in and buy a property. When you make offers purchase 70% of retail price minus the rehab cost. Make sure you pull comps and know what the property could sell for when the work is finished. If your math makes sense and your inspections and cost of the property work. Then buy it and get started. You can do it.

I just purchased a house to flip. I now need funds to fix and flip the house. I was wondering is it possible to get a HELOC? Or are there other renovation loans that I can consider? The property is in Columbia SC. I purchased it for $65k the reno is about $25k and the ARV is $140k.

Sure just go to Detroit and buy a house for $5k and invest the other $5k in renovations and either lease it or sell it and do it again.
