Steve Stern, so are you saying because Cali doesn't have much lagging inventory that home prices will probably still continue its upwards trend?

Hello,
I'm considering buying a SFH in the bay area (Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon and surrounding area) and I've noticed home prices have gone up quiete a bit since even a year ago. With rising interest rates and rising home prices, I just wanted to get peoples opinions on where they see the market going in the next 1 year, 3 years, 5 years+? I talked to one real estate agent who said they felt the market was beginning to top off in these areas...
