Sorry about your loss Stanley. At least some good came from it. I had no idea you could get a rental property for 3500 thousand though. I wonder if they have housing auctions were I live.

Thanks for the tips Jean, that's a great idea! The house address is 2116 Florence Ave Kingman, AZ. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2116-Florence-Ave-Kingman-AZ-86401/8374947_zpid/ I don't know how to make a regular link thing.

I well I've been looking for a house for about a year now. I've put some offers in on a couple of other houses in worse areas before, all got turned down. About two weeks ago a house popped-up for 20k and I had a little over 19k saved up. I went and looked at it with my Uncle, and he said I couldn't go wrong with it for 20-23k. He let me borrow some money so I could put an offer in at 21k. I got a call on Thursday saying they accepted my offer!

My offer got accepted! I've been saving hard since I was twenty with my barely above minimum wage job. I should own my house free and clear next month!

Haha thank you, Michael! Well someone got the 16k house for a hundred more dollers than I offered. I Just put an offer on a house for 21k It's in a much nicer part of the town, I will have to redo the roof on it if I get it... good thing my older brother was a roofer for ten years. I have a little over 19k saved up now.

Well, I put in a offer for a 16K house, my uncle looked at it with me and said it should be a turn key house if I put about 3K into it. I could get a call anytime now.

Well last week I talked to a realetor and she said I had to get pre-approved before we can look for a house. I went to the bank and they said I haven't had my credit card long enough to have a score. *5 months* I've only used my card once to pay for gas and I payed it off the next day, I guess you have to wait awhile to pay it off to build credit? She told me I should buy something for 200 dollers and pay it off in two or three months to build my credit.
