It very much depends on your area. Most MLS services are only giving out codes to licensed agents. That is how ours is even though there is a free version and it does sync with many other sites. Really the only information not shown on these sites are documents, compensation, and remarks. They may also lag a day behind. Hopefully others can speak to if you can get access in your area! Have a great night!

Howdy guys! Been a lurker for a very long time here. I really am looking to become more active. I'm a realtor in the Nashville TN area. I am looking to invest but am waiting on a little more capital. Interested in buy and hold rentals! Some flipping. Eventually I want to get into large mixed use space then hospitality properties. 21 years old and finishing up school and and Entertainment Business major. I have started writing for Odyssey, as of recent. It is an online young folks publication. I write on renting, investing, buying, creating wealth, and entertainment property acquisition. Always looking to interview folks! Would love to talk and network. Thanks so much for everything you all have already taught me!!

As a real estate agent, these services can really frustrate me. In the last week alone I have wasted hours of work on listings that have not been updated correctly. When done well it can really help an investor. However, it can make you look less honorable to the other folks in this field when your property is listed wrong or even worse not available and not updated. Make sure you are working with a company that keeps there flat fee listings up to date, because many of them will just post it and leave it. Agents don't like out of date information, and investors don't like unnecessary phone calls, upset customers, and a bad unprofessional rep. Just make sure your agent posting the information is on top of their game. Better yet be on their game for them.
