Thanks for a very educational response. Highly appreciated! So Quest does not allow to let my wife be the manager of her LLC? If not, what are the options? We think LLC is the safest way to go.

My wife just opened a self directed IRA account with Quest Trust Company. She was told by the attorney that Quest won't allow her to be the manager of LLC. Attorney said that most other custodians allow that. I got great recommendations about Quest from BP. So I don't understand how this can be true???

Would like to buy MHP using Self Directed IRA. Possible?

The mortgage is in my and my wife's name. Can I transfer the property to a LLC solely owned by my wife?

@Dmitriy Fomichenko Sorry I must have messed up. So I just opened my SDIRA. I would like LLC in there to own my properties. Should I decided on state(s) where I will be investing in or should I create LLC in some state?

@Mark Hart Yes the new house average prices are too high for the numbers to work. I keep hearing how great Jacksonville is but can’t find turnkey providers who fix up older homes.

I see many building brand new houses but can’t find true turnkey providers?
