@Peter Vuong hey Peter I'm an agent here on the South Shore and I was just curious how you made out with that multi-family?

As a new agent in the Boston area I'm looking to really niche down into 2 or 3 areas. One of those area will be going after divorce listing. I'm curious if anyone has any success stories or what they did so they would stand out to some of these divorce attorneys. Thanks in advance.

@Sean Connolly I was in your shoes about a month after passing my exam. I looked at eXp and KW and both had great opportunities. I however went with Jack Conway. They have an excellent training program and free mentorship as well. Also not as much cost when your starting out. Feel free to connect with me if you have any questions and maybe we can connect. I'm just South of the city myself.

@Matthew Gallacher well I have spoken to an individual out of state who inherited a house in 2015, it's vacant and has one of the red and white Xs on it and she is interested in selling it. I'm curious about the houses with the Xs around the city.

Has anyone had any success investing in the vacant houses in the city? I came across one that has an absentee owner due to inheriting the house in 2015.

Is it possible to share the link to the live stream, I was hoping to get to this meet-up but unfortunately looks like I’ll be stuck at work. Anyone who wants to grab a coffee anytime let me know my treat.

As for properties, a lot of Bangor is priced on the higher side due to there currently being a housing crisis  (great time to be a landlord) but there are still plenty of deals to be found here and on the other side of the river in Brewer if you look. We do have a meeting the first Wednesday of the month usually at a local bar. I hope that you find 2019 to be full of success and good health.

I am looking forward to attending the meetings and meeting some knowledgeable individuals.

I’m down in Southern Maine but congrats on the move!  I know there is a monthly meet up for BP up there as well so I’d go there for sure once you get settled!

Oh, we have seen a HUGE difference in the market, Homes, where we were in Pembroke, are 250k-300k and 2BR 1BA fixer-uppers. We are very excited, to say the least about the possibilities.

Good Evening fellow BP'ers

My name is Harold and I have been lurking around for a while now soaking up information and trying to learn as much as I can. Currently located in Boston however were relocating to Bangor at the end of January. I have always had a passion for RE and have been looking for the time to jump in, now is as good a time as any I feel.

My background is in Asset Protection and with that, I am very analytical and would undoubtedly be an asset to the numbers side of the game. At this point, I have no first-hand experience but am a quick learner and am willing to help out where I can to the right mentor.

Would love to chat all things RE and make some connections before our big move and hopefully develop that into a working relationship that benefits both parties in the near future.

Thanks for your time.

Hey BP family. I am curious as to which if any of these sites you use? I am looking to pick up the pace a bit and wondering if anyone has pros or cons to either. Or maybe there is something else out there that I don't know about.

Thanks in advance.
