Post: True (Simple) Bi-Weekly

For a Conventional Loan, is there any reason why some one would not want to set up a True (Simple) Bi-Weekly payment structure? At least for a some one who is planning on holding the investment for a long time. Seems like you can build equity much quicker and pay off the loan much much faster.

Does anyone have any experience with these specifically in the Central Florida area? Or have any recommendations on who provides these (with little or no extra cost?)

@Kris Haskins , Thanks so much for the response. And yes, I am excited. I have only recently thought of the idea of using the SDIRA as a way of investing (before I only thought of it as THE investment). Good stuff, So what I am thinking is using cash for my initial purchase for myself...hoping for a nice duplex. And using the SDIRA money for a 2nd or 3rd investment purchase. Thanks again Kris!

Podcast 49 got me thinking...I know you can take money out of an IRA without penalty if it's a first time purchase and bla bla bla. My question is this:

If I have enough money cash to put the 3.5% down on a first home purchase, Would it make sense to save the IRA money (if I moved it to a self directed IRA) for later investment purchases? Is that even possible? Obviously I am trying to avoid any penalties. Thanks guys!
