Hi Everyone, I am in NJ. I wanted to apply for home equity loan for investment property but I am not sure when its more beneficial to do it. Is it better to apply when real estate prices are high like now to get higher loan or is it better to wait to next financial crisis and apply for smaller rate? Any answers are appreciated. I am not in a hurry and can wait 2-4 years.

Ok, thank you everyone. I have a regular toilet lid. She wanted me to install safety feature to lock it with lid lock. So my question was whether it was my responsibility.

Quote from @Theresa Harris:

I'd talk to an attorney.  It should go to whoever is the executor of the will.  You also have to find out who is going to take his belongings. Do not return anything until a) the unit is cleared out by the proper person and b) you do an inspection of the property.

Thank you. Sister cleaned the apartment and it passed the inspection. Do I just wait until executor of will contact me? The person wasn't rich.
