Wanted to re-post question because having difficult time finding answer on HUD site. I am interested in buying HUD home to live in for 1 year as owner occupant. What happens if I find a new job within 6 months and must move. Can I sell the home or do I have to pass on the job and stay for at least 12 months? Thanks-Dan

I am thinking of buying a home for 22000 that needs about 25k worth of work.

ARV is $88,000. I have just enough cash to buy house and pay for repairs. I am concerned about having 95% of my cash in the house. Any creative ways to keep more of my cash? Can I pay for the house in cash then mortgage the repairs? Or is there a better solution out there?

Thanks-

Cheers-

Good evening- Thinking of purchasing a HUD home under owners occupancy. My plan is to purchase house and live in it while I complete the renovations. I did this once before last summer. However, what happens if I complete the renovations in April and sell the home in May.

Thanks for help-

Cheers

Good evening- I am thinking of making an offer on 1300 sqr foot home that needs new siding. Any general idea of how much it is to put siding on a home? The asking price is 22,000 and ARV is 88,000.

Cheers-
