Hi,
I have parking tickets on my report.
How can reporting agency prove this is mine?

Can I write them claiming it does not belong to me?

Hi,
I just came back home after spending 3-4 hrs in my area after visiting the addresses on foreclosures. Nearly half of them have been listed now by agents.
Does it means I cannot talk to the sellers now.
How can they be listed if they are on foreclosure?

Thanks

Is it even worth the efforts trying to close a deal in pre-foreclosure in a area where most real estate think the market is still HOT.
I am saying this because I find the homes, I contact the seller but someone is already there before me.

ok,
I visited a house on foreclosure and left a note. The owner called back and told me someone else is buying the house and only that person will buy the house.
I told the owner that I just need your approval so I can also call your lender but the owner said no way. because I want only him to buy the house.
I even offered some cash to the owner. but to no avail.

My questions now.
Why owner is saying that he wants that person only to buy the house. Are they related so that owner doesnot give his consent to anyone but his relative.
and then his relative goes to lender and offers pennies on dollar?

Or
The person is a professional investor who has sign some sort of agreement that the seller will not give permission to anyone else.

What do you guys think?

hi,
I live in a area where housing is holding pretty well.
I found a house where the seller has been served notice of trustee sale. The house is going to be auctioned. but the seller has listed this house on the market.
Can they do that? if yes then why not every seller list the house in my area where I know it will be sold for more than what an investor or I will offer them.
I have an example where there was a house short saled by an investor for 20-30% than market value. why did that seller did not listed?

of course once I found the seller and he agrees to my offer I am going to hire a foreclosure specialist or a real estate lawyer and a escrow service to deal with all the complications like second morgtage . liens etc.

How do you find owners of the house being foreclosed.

The house is vacant. The phone is unlisted. Neighbour don't have a clue.

Should I hire an agent?

I am trying to buy a house myself.

Thanks

Hi,
I am totally new in this field and I am not an investor.
My landlord is an investor and from him I learn few words like foreclosure etc.

so I started learning and now I am at a point where I know few things. I am now trying to just buy a house for myself using this method(pre-foreclosure).

My problem is I can't find the phone of these people who's house is on foreclosure so that I can call and make an offer.

What should I do?
