I will not ever do anything illegal... My plan was to use FHA financing on a 4 Plex... Keeping one unit for myself, with it being my permanent US mailing address and residence... But... I live in China 300+ days a year... So maybe the question should be... If I have an FHA loan on a 4 Plex, with one unit being my primary US residence, is there a rule about how many days I have to live there? Thoughts and comments please... THANKS in advance BP members!

I was thinking that having it as a permanent mailing address would work... 

But was wondering about actual living in the property... 

I spend most of my time overseas... 

I might only actually live there one month a year... 

Does anyone know if that counts?

What proof is needed that you are actually living in [it is your primary residence] an FHA financed home?
