I looked at the picture before I read the post....and thought "that looks like northern California. I wonder where that is?" -- then noticed you were from Ukiah! Small world -- my husband grew up there!

Looks like a great place!!

@Michael Herr  -- you bring up a good point! Maybe I can just swap out the handles and not buy the whole works!!

The current ones are disgusting, so I'm hoping to replace them.

A question about faucets..... On a recent trip to Lowes, I was informed that the faucets with two handles (one for cold, one for hot) are no longer sold. So..... as I study my flipping project, I realized that both the tub/shower and the shower stall both have the two handle setup. Short of replacing the whole tub/shower enclosure, is there a solution for this? Or is there somewhere other than the big box stores where I can purchase new faucets in the old format?

Wow! That is an amazing transformation and absolutely beautiful!!!!

I have seen several older MHs redone the way you are describing. A couple of them just textured right over the existing paneling and it looked great. An easy fix to not have to hang new drywall!

A property not far from my home is listed on Hubzu, and I bid on it last week. What an irritating process. I ended up being the high bidder, but the property was relisted immediately. I somehow expected that they might contact me and say "Your bid was insufficient, but we would take $X." What an unfriendly process for the buyer all the way around.

I do wonder why a bank, that supposedly would like to actually SELL a property, would use Hubzu as the sales medium. It really does not make sense to me.
