@Joe Callantine yep that’s the one! My friends go there on the weekend. I thought the place was cool and def had a community feel. Right across the street from the ocean. I want to go back. Would love to do something similar on the east coast.

I visited some friends in Oregon last summer and they have their 2nd home in a tiny home community. They go there on the weekends and it’s on the coast. The feel of the place was like a campground/ mobile home park. There were 5-6 lots that were owned by the owner of the community and he puts them on Air BnB and they were booked solid at avg $125/night. The owner gets lot rent from the owners as well and if the owners of the tiny homes want to place theirs on air BnB the owner gets a small percentage. There’s a community room on the property and a couple extra common areas. Overall I thought the idea was great. There’s a video on YouTube from the owner on all the things he did to get it started. I find the idea very intriguing and think there is def certain appeal to this in the right areas.

Hello, 

Would like to get some advice on the thought of ditching my 401K at my W2 in order to create more cash on hand month to month. I am at the beginning of my real estate investor journey, I am currently house hacking and am looking for my 2nd property. My goal is to retire in 5 years from the W2 so would it make sense to stop the 401K? I am currently putting in about $400 a month in to it and there is a company match. I have enough cash for a decent down payment but thinking more cash is always a good thing. Would love to gain some insight from others.

Anyone know of a REI meet up in Hudson Valley NY, specifically Kingston NY that meets in person? I have been on the sidelines for a bit researching and studying and getting ready to dive in and would love to network! I searched the forums and the last post about meet ups in the area was 3 years ago. I am interested in multi family, but would love to get together and discuss any and all aspects of REI!

is this going to only be on Wednesdays? That's the only night I cannot make it. The dutchess county one in Poughkeepsie is always on a Wednesday night also. Looking for something that's not on a Wednesday night to start networking.
