We installed a custom made vent for a customer recently. Installatiion  included install of the fixture, venting through the roof, running electrical, touchup sheet rock and paint, new trim, and installation of the stack on the roof. Collectively it was $900 total, or so with material and labor. Keep in mind it was an older home that presented a few challenges. 

Looking for recommendations for an architect who can provide drawings for small renovation projects, in the Baton Rouge area.

Outside of the work you already paid for not being completed, is anything else preventing you from firing this contractor?

We have several properties, in the Baton Rouge area, we have been approached about owner financing. If I am to rent/lease to own, would I be able to refinance and cash out, thus accessing the equity in the house?

Hi Anthony, I may not be of any help as I am a contractor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I would assume the city, at a minimum, will want to at least inspect the framing of the repair work, but I would also think they will require plans submitted prior to beginning work. Ask your local office what they require.
