@Jason Gilmore Welcome to the BP community!  I live in NorCal, but lived in Tucson for 13 years before leaving.  Given the high cost of entry here, I recently did my first deal in Tucson and will be looking for additional deals in that area.

If you haven't done so already, I recommend you attend the AZREIA meetings in Phoenix whenever you can.  I wish you the best!

@Kao Saeteurn Welcome to BP.  I currently live in NorCal, but lived in Tucson for 13 years previous.  We just bought our first rental property...in Tucson.  I echo @Andrew Kiel's recommendation to join AZREIA and get involved.  Although I live 1000 miles away, I'm going to figure out a way to do the same.  Building relationships is everything!  Best of luck to you.

We used to live in Tucson, AZ, and decided to make our first investment there earlier this month. However, I would like to keep my investments closer to where I live (Napa).

@Sergio Esparza Welcome to BP!  Check out the Arizona Real Estate Investors Association (AZREIA).  They have monthly meetings in Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott.  The Phoenix meeting is Monday, 2/11, so your timing is good!

@Joe Young You took some serious lumps, but you remain undaunted. That's impressive, and it certainly bodes well for your future in Real Estate. As a relative newcomer to REI, I don't yet have much sage advice for you, but I do offer my encouragement and gratitude for sharing the story with us.
