New construction duplex near Lowell. Live in one half and let the other pay your mortgage or rent both out and enjoy a nice monthly cashflow. It is located in a great neighborhood on a quiet street. Each half is 1100 sq/ft with a 12X22 attached garage. 2 bed 1 bath, open concept living/dining/ kitchen. Pergo outlast floors throughout with grey paint scheme, kitchens with white cabinets and stainless appliances. Washer and dryer in unit. All appliances included. Projected rents are $1,100 per half. 219-545-1585

I have a brand new duplex in northwest Indiana for sale in the marketplace. It is in Lowell which is a great community and a great neighborhood that I would live in myself. I could have it rented out completely and sell as a turn key.  I haven't filled it with renters yet as I am exploring my options on just getting a refi and keeping or just selling it. I know you can find higher returns in north Lake county but that is a much rougher area. Feel free to pm me for more info.

I'm getting the same response here as I am from calls to contractors... just the crickets chirping. Looking like I have a lot of drywall to hang tape and mud in the near future

Thanks for the input guys. This issue certainly isn't keeping me awake at night and I really don't care about the 5 inches of land. Was just wanting opinions of people more experienced with similar situations if This issue is even worth addressing or just ignoring. I will just be renting it out, but in the event of an incident on the deck or if I ever end up selling it I am looking for peace of mind.

Would an easement last forever or could it be revoked?

The surveyor located and confirmed the original metal stakes from when the subdivision was laid out almost 20 years ago. It's on the north side of the property and it's the west half of a townhouse/duplex that is being rented out. I'm just trying to get as many ideas from experienced guys on here about which direction to go with this before my lawyer charges me $250 an hour
